Website updated July 6, 2015

WELCOME

Greetings everyone and welcome to the Estacada Area Support Our Troops Foundation website.  This website is dedicated to inform the Estacada and surrounding areas as to what our organization is about and what we are doing to honor all the troops in the service and to honor all our veterans, living and deceased.ire last summer

I have committed myself to serving our organization and to living up to all the terms set down by our Articles of Incorporation and our Bylaws.  I will continue the responsibilities appropriate to this office, and I strive to serve to the best of my abilities.

I am proud to work with all the members of our organization to achieve the Mission and Goals we have set for ourselves.

The Estacada Area Support Our Troops Foundation will remain deeply rooted in such bedrock foundations as God, family, and country.

We would like to welcome members of the community to become involved in our organization by either joining as a member of EASOTF or becoming a volunteer.

God bless the United States of America and Support our Troops

Dennis P. Dahrens, Founder and President
Estacada Area Support Our Troops Foundation.

MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of the Estacada Area Support Our Troops Foundation (EASOTF) to honor ALL the men and women in the Estacada area and throughout our nation that have served; past, present and in the future in peacetime and war.

We are dedicated to encourage and foster patriotism and provide recognition to all Estacada area veterans and to all veterans for their courage and willingness to give all for their country.

This memorial is not the work of one or two persons but a community project.  It is the desire of EASOTF that all credit be given to the community for supporting our veterans by building and maintaining the veterans memorial.

GOALS

It is the goal of all members of EASOTF to complete and maintain the Estacada Veteran's Memorial and act as a viable and honorable organization to educate the public about the deeds and actions of our veterans through community activities and by holding events throughout the year.

The memorial is accessible to everyone.  EASOTF requests that the memorial be treated with dignity and respect and that all visitors conduct themselves accordingly.

Thank You..

EASOTF Board of Directors

EASOTF would like to say BE CAREFUL WITH FIRE. In this hot dry weather a spark could due a lot, remember the Pit Fire last summer? Please be careful. Heard there are even special hours for mowing your yard.
************************************
Thank You to the Estacada Garden Girls. They came in and worked on cleaning up the flower beds at the memorial so  it looked great for the 4th of July. Thanks again, Estacada Garden Girls.
***************************
Thanks to everyone who came to our 4th Annual Flag Day fund raiser - even if we did hold it on the 13th this year. Also to all who stopped by our booth at the Estacada Timber Festival this 4th of July.

The next sale of bricks to be put on the Walls of Honor at the veterans memorial will start   April 1, 2015 and continue through September 30,  2015.  These bricks will be placed on the walls for Veteran's Day, 2015.

Costs for bricks are now $60.00 each due to the costs associated with engraving and installation.  Thank you all for supporting the Veterans Memorial by having your loved ones remembered with a brick.

Everyone is welcome to our next meeting at the Odd Fellows Lodge  at 6:30 PM - Tuesday - July 28, 2015.
